The above link shows how teachers' plan for LA classes.  You can use it to make up your news reports, short stories, poems, how to take better notes, and you can self assess your own writing with the rubrics and checklists provided here.

We are working on News Reports, then were going to go back to Short Stories, then reading stories and answering "author purpose" questions --- like analyzing literature.
