Reminders

1. Concrete poems! Parents, they had 5hours to work on this school, and Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday ... and 10 students did not complete these.  There will be phone calls home starting tomorrow.  I am very disappointed with this. 

2. Picture day Reminders were sent home, next Tuesday, Oct 19th 

3. Decimal place value, adding, and subtracting unit test Thursday, Oct 14th!   ----- Practice review test sent home for tonight

4. Study for the math test tonight using Mathletics too! 

5. Mid term test in science test will be next week sometime, TBD

Today we read and some students worked on their missing homework.   We then reviewed for the math test that is tomorrow. 

In social we continued with our equity vs equality skits.  Students are learning the pros and cons of doing group projects and working through decision making. 

In LA we learned about Japanese Lantern,  the Cinquain, and the Acrostic poems. 

In gym, they had the specialist today and she said they were great. 

In science we learned all about dendro-discs aka tree cookies.  We will be going hands on with them tomorrow and doing some in class tasks around them.
