Online Schedule for Both Weeks

 

May Online Learning - Grade 5/6 Room 19

The Google Meet schedule will be sent out as soon as the school finalizes the times (they try to avoid overlap between grades in case siblings are sharing devices). We expect it to look similar to the January schedule. Our homeroom Google Meet code will always be bhsroom19. If there are other codes for phys ed and music, they will be posted on our Google Classroom stream.

Please make sure you are checking the blog (http://gr6bhs.blogspot.com)  for updated information during the period of online learning.

There are a few differences for our class this time. Students will have the option of uploading photos of their paperwork or typing their answers into provided answer boxes on the Google Classroom assignments when possible (ie. you can type answers to basic facts questions but you cannot type a graph you have drawn).

Students are expected to be completing work each day. During our daily Google Meets, we will be going over work for the day and teaching or reviewing the skills required for the assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions during the room 19 Google Meets and over email.

There will be all 4 subjects covered.  We will post the work 1 week at a time. 

SEX ED WILL NOT be covered during these 2 weeks like originally planned.  We will save it for in person learning.  If online is extended we will be doing it online like planned before. 

SJAM mentorship parents will be notified about it via email.
