This Thursday morning was a bit different today.  I was acting AP to help out in the office, and we had a sub teacher in.  Apparently, they were outstanding, which is music to my ears! 

They read, had gym, and in LA had time to work on their crest and fingerprint poem.  Those who were finished were given a reading about the WE scandal to learn more about current events and government.  It had questions to answer after as well. 

After music we figured out our mathletics log ins and went through how that runs with me.  We also signed up to Google classroom. Your child has an invite to join my classroom in their gmail account provided by the school.  

After lunch we had mindfulness and recess.  In science we explored student exemplars from my previous years about what to expect for this layers of the forest project.
