3. Terry Fox Run Donation - if the school raises $400 they can dress me up! We are doing great on the donations keep those toonies for Terry coming in!
----WE RAISED $519.25 in our class alone! Students can come early to dress me up I will let them in the 5/6 door at 7:30
Our Terry Fox Run time is 8:30am, so bring a change of clothes if you wish and a water bottle!
Today we read and had gym with Mr. Sadowsky. In math we did our tri-weekly basic fact quiz. In LA we worked on 4 kinds of poems; bio poem, mirror poem, opposite poem, and I am poem. The students had a lot of fun doing these.
In social we watched a documentary about residential schools; what happened in them, their history, the path to Canada's reconciliation process. Then we explored on computers how Orange shirt day started and what it means and its legacy. This carried over to after mindfulness and lots of questions and research as a class continued.
