PE OUTSIDE FOR REST OF YEAR

From Mr. Sadowsky:

"Unless it is below zero or pouring rain, teacher led classes will be outside for the remainder of the year, including light snow. Classes with me will be outside beginning in May for the remainder of the year. With the Covid numbers going up and the new variants, it is much safer to have classes spread out outside and the class in the gym having the entire gym to also be able to spread out more. If you have parent concerns, you can let them know a large number of schools have been outside all year due to Covid concerns and this is for the safety of our students and staff. "

We have gym at 8:30am, so make sure to have a warm jacket and a hoodie and/or mitts and a toque.

However, thanks to the amazing members of parent council, we now have Volunteer Parent Patrollers ready to help our students use the crosswalks safely.

Reminders:
Please watch for the parents in bright yellow and orange vests at front of the school and the NE corner just outside the compound.
Students and parents who walk to and from school, say hi and let the Parent Patrollers know you need to cross, then wait until the Parent Patrollers say it is safe to cross.
Students and parents in cars, please be patient and wait until everyone is out of the crosswalk and the Parent Patrollers lower their sign for you to drive on through.
