Reading...Give it a Shot
BHS has enrolled in the Calgary Flames reading program.  Students will be bringing home tracking sheets to monitor how much they read each day.  Can you please sign the spot needed if they are reading at home?  1hr read = 1 Flames hockey card in grade 6.  Once they collect all 24, they can move onto the bonus card collection of Harvey the Hound doing funny things! The reading competition starts now and ends early December.   The more they read the more chance we have of the Calgary Flames visiting our school! Thank you for your support and work with encouraging your child to read! Go Flames Go!

BRING TOWELS AND BATHING SUITS!

Today we did our tri-weekly quiz, we will be marking them tomorrow.

Then we had snack after music and read silently / finishing math before swimming.

After swimming it was our library time.

In the afternoon we did our IRIS goals (math, LA, and personal) with 3 strategies each as to how to meet each goal.  These will be shown and discussed to you at the parent teacher meetings next week!
Then we helped our buddy class in grade 2 do their goals and strategies.  We then tidied up the room before ending our day.

We hope everyone has a wild Wednesday!
