Reminders
1. Concrete poems! Parents, they had 5hours to work on this school, and Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday ... and 10 students did not complete these. There will be phone calls home starting tomorrow. I am very disappointed with this.
2. Picture day Reminders were sent home, next Tuesday, Oct 19th
3. Decimal place value, adding, and subtracting unit test Thursday, Oct 14th!
Today, wow, flew by!
We read and talked about our weekends before diving into math and getting ready for our test Thursday.
Then we learned about hand position and gripping for badminton and worked on a few different skills.
In social we continued planning our script for the big equity vs equality skits.
In LA we learned about 4 different types of poems and had time to write them / work on our concrete poem.
In the afternoon we had recess, lunch, mindfulness, and we did our playground.robogarden.ca coding work. I encourage students to work on this an extra hour a week outside of school too! It is a very cool program, and soon we will be able to make our own basic video games!
