Monday, November 2nd

 Reminders

1. Poetry project has been extended ... this WEDNESDAY is the DEADLINE!

2. We have a student teacher, Ms. Nelson, who started today.  She will be starting doing a novel study with the class, which is why we need to get poetry out of the way.

3. I was away with Covid-like symptoms this past week. I was negative, so no worries for anyone :). The class did really well when we were away.

4. Bring back your reading sheets so we can tally it up!   WE WANT THE PRIZE!

5. A few tests and items have been returned home to be signed and returned back to their folders.

6. Tomorrow, even more items will be sent home to be signed - science, LA, and Math assessments.

Today in class we read to start and caught up about my time off and Halloween.

In gym we are doing basketball on one half of the gym, today we worked on dribbling and passing skills.

We had an hour to work on our poetry that as much needed even for students who thought they were done.

In math, we practice all 4 operations with decimals, then zeroed in on long division problems.

We had music and recess and snack.

Afterwards, we completed the school story, "If a Beluga had some Bacon" and did the required pictures for it to finish off literacy month.

In science we worked on our complex food chains.

We hope everyone has a Mustang Monday!
