Reminders
1. Poetry project deadline is Monday 9th, no more class time will be dedicated to this. We are starting our novel study on Friday!
2. 2 math assessments have been sent home to be signed and returned, and writing assessments.
3. Picture forms are due back this Friday.
4. Vaccine forms were sent home today, please return them ASAP. Due Friday!
5. Spelling quiz tomorrow
6. YMCA forms due Tuesday
Today Ms. Nelson led reading and basketball in gym. Then we did our tri weekly. basic fact math assessment and then corrected them.
We had a class meeting about our new LA unit, Remembrance Day, the new seating plan, any issues they felt important about, and me being away next week on Thursday and Friday.
In social we learned about how a motion turns into a bylaw. I sent them a challenge to ask you parents tonight :)
In science we are learning about leaf classification - shape, arrangement, edges.
Then I gave them the final 15mins of the day to get into partners to quiz each other for the spelling test tomorrow.
