Reminders
1. Poetry project has been extended ... this WEDNESDAY is the last working period for the project!
2. We have a student teacher, Ms. Nelson, who started today. She will be starting doing a novel study with the class, which is why we need to get poetry out of the way.
3. I forgot to send home the math tests and writing assessments, tomorrow!!
4. Picture forms are due back this Friday.
5. Vaccine forms were sent home today, please return them ASAP.
Today we read and talked about vaccines in the morning. They had floor hockey with Mr. Sadowsky.
About half the class handed in their poems today!! And tomorrow is the last day for it!
In math we worked on our basic facts and did more long division. We added in word problems to the mix today.
In social we learned about how citizens and community members can help the city when it can't afford certain services.
In science we covered the basic process of photosynthesis. We will be starting leaf classification and identification soon, so we can begin the end of unit project.
